Secretary news: some good, some bad: The bad news is that Jody Bridges will be leaving us.  She has done a wonderful job and has been a blessing to all who have worked with her.  We will miss her, but she realized that she really did prefer retirement over work.  The good news is she introduced us to Marjie Hamilton who has been in training and will be keeping the same office hours, Monday – Thursday 9:00-12:00 noon, when Jody leaves.  Please stop by to greet and meet Marjie and to wish Jody well. A big thank you to Jody and a warm welcome to Marjie.

Altar Guild news: We have a new wooden celebrant’s chair in the chapel to replace the old metal chair from the undercroft.  This was bought by the altar guild of our church and given in thanksgiving for the Howe family’s generosity to and support of the altar guild at St. John’s through the years.

EXCUSE OUR MESS! Hurd Construction and painting has begun the tuck point project on our bricks which will preserve our building for future generations.  There will also be some painting done.  Have patience with us while we undergo this facelift.
