ECW meets in the undercroft at 5:00 on the second Monday of each month. Every woman at our church is a member if she so desires. St. John's Parish ECW activities currently include:
- sponsors and buys gifts for monthly bingo games at the nursing home
- provides home-cooked food for parish dinners
- calling group to rally members to help whenever a St. John's parish member needs a hand
- donates food and/or money to help the local food pantry
- provides hands-on help with the Humane Society's spay and neuter clinic
- organizes delivery of food and other services needed in case of illness or death in a family
- helps monetarily for special causes related to severe illness
- buys Christmas gifts for American Indian children
- planning a special luncheon and speaker during Lent.
ECW at St. John's is alive and very well indeed!
